Status of University Operations for 01/16/2024

Due to adverse winter weather conditions 和 to help ensure the safety of our students, 教师, 和工作人员, 德州运动家队&M University-商务 campus 和 达拉斯 site will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

The following information pertains only to the 主校区A&达拉斯的移动商务 for the duration of this adverse weather period. All other locations will adhere to the decisions of their host institutions.

Academic Expectations:

To minimize disruption of academic activities, all instruction will transition to online for the duration of the adverse weather period. All students are expected to check their email for communication from their professors. All 教师 are expected to communicate directly with their students to share information about specific plans for each course 和 address deadlines for coursework.

必要的人员: Despite the closure, specific employees are deemed essential. Essential personnel will be identified as such by their supervisors 和 are expected to be on campus if possible. Essential employees who cannot travel to campus should contact their supervisors immediately to determine the best course of action.

Note: At the discretion 和 written approval of the supervisor, an employee may be designated as essential personnel on an ad hoc basis. Ad hoc essential employees may be asked to work remotely.

All staff designated as non-essential will not report to campus 和 will be granted emergency leave. Non-essential personnel are not expected to work remotely unless they are deemed “essential personnel” on an ad hoc basis, as described in the section above.
